Random Thoughts & Mindfulness

It's been a lovely day, Alhamdulillah. And thanks to every one who attended my TEA PARTY For Sisters! It's never too late to join in though for the ones who missed it.
I'm sitting on the floor with my labtop next to my rabbit right now, caressing her while she's having a nap :) She's so soft and warm behind her ears and in the apartment it's so cold today! She's been quick to change her summer fur to winter fur this year! Outside it's cold too, colder than last year in October. I was looking for winter-pictures and came across this one:

Oh my God. As a kid I had these small ponies, but not as beautiful ones as this one! Wow I had never stopped playing had I had this one! Hehe. And I would have played that I was her, just as calm, beautiful, precious - and reserved. I want to be a kid again and disappear in my fantasy-world! :)
I have often thought that it is sad how the majority of adults (if not all) loose the ability to really dive into a fantasy-world and stay in it for as long as they feel like. We have so many chores and we have realized that we need to do something with our lives - that there are goals we need to put up and hopefully reach and that we don't get far by living in a fantasy-world. It belongs to childhood, that must be how Allah(swt) wants it. And it's perfect there too of course! :) And as adults we can let ourselves become inspired by children's ability to concentrate a hundred per cent on something without thinking about what's going to happen next. Actually "mindfulness" is exactly the state children are in when they play, masha'Allah. We can indeed learn a lot from observing them. As adults we just have to re-learn the state of mindfulness - and here our deen is a great help indeed, subhan'Allah!

That's all for now of my thoughts.
I wish all sisters a blessed evening, day - or whatever it is at your place! :)
