Cleaning Tips & A Documentary about The Prophet (saws)

Dear sisters!

Thanks so much to all of you who comment on my post entries!! I'm always so delighted to read your words :-)

I've had a nice day - although I think time really flies, especially when you have lot of studying to do, like I have.
And I went out in my winter jacket today, while people were in shorts and T-shirts :-/ Somebody didn't check the weather forecast and felt cold inside the house. Lol.
One thing I love when going shopping, is to find stuff that can make life easier for me. Hehe. Like making it easier to clean the house, e.g. So today I bought these micro fiber cloths. I was getting so tired of using the same cloths every day (and they only come in three colours here!). Some of you have probably used these micro fiber cloths for ages, but they don't seem to be that popular in Denmark yet(?). I think they're magical! Hehe. You just need to add a little hot water and start wiping. Yay. So easy. So now I find it easier to keep the bathroom shiny, 'cause the cloth makes it so easy to remove fingerprints on the faucet or drops of water, e.g.
And the micro fiber cloths are environmentally friendly, because you can wash them and re-use them many times and you don't need a lot of water, when cleaning with them!
So I'm done with using a lot of water to clean the house with, but will still use a few drops of rose water on the cloths :-)
For more cleaning-tips, read my post Housekeeping.
If you don't know exactly how to clean with a micro fiber cloth, you'll be happy to hear that eHow wrote something about this.
You can also visit the blog Muslim Wife Secrets. It's just awesome! Sister Safyiah did such an incredible job there, sharing so many tips about cleaning, cooking, beauty, health etc. Check it out.

Another thing I love, is to achieve more knowledge about Islam (obviously), so I often look through books and search the Internet and yesterday I found this great documentary about our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saws). Below you can view 1 of 12 parts from the documentary. I think it's made in a lovely way and I hope you'll like it too. I never get tired of hearing about the Prophet (saws).

That's all for now. I've to go back to my green tea with roses and my books.

Take care, sisters and have a wonderful weekend, insha'Allah!

Stuck in the Room & Desperate Cooking

Dear All of You :)

I hope you're having a beautiful day and enjoying whatever you are doing, or can look forward to something you will enjoy, insha'Allah.
The reason for my lack of posting is that I have had a very busy week, visiting my dad to take care of him, starting University again, starting playing in a symphony orchestra again and cooking and picking up and bringing my stepdaughter. When we have her over I always have less time for Blogger etc.
Right now I'm actually stuck in the room, 'cause my husband has a business-partner for visit in the other room and he didn't close the door, although he promised to, and I don't like to disturb and I also don't know the man... At least my rabbit is in here with me. Hehe.
I should've gone to the library already, to pick up a lot of reserved books. Mainly cookbooks! I'm in a positive cooking-flow these days and want to learn to make even more dishes and hopefully stay in that flow.

Last year I liked watching the serie Desperate Housewives from time to time and actually, although I usually dislike TV and series, the serie inspired me to become a prouder "housewife" ;) I want to become even better at cleaning and cooking! At the library I'm going to pick up the cookbook from the serie. I'm excited to see which dishes they put in it and if I'll feel like many any of them :)

Hey now something is happening in the other room, the guy is going out on the balchony for a smoke! Yay. Then I can sneak out...

Oh no. I'm really disappointed 'cause it smells so much of smoke in the house now, even in my room with the door closed :-/ 'cause my husband let him keep the balchony door open and kept talking with him while the guy was smoking... Yuk!! Must be one important business-deal or something, since my husband is allowing this. And I still can't leave the room... Don't people usually have to go to the toilet after smoking??! :-D I'll wait for that now where I have already waited 1½ hours... Hehe. Take care all of you :)

For Kids

I sometimes visit YouTube to watch the series or movies I loved watching, when I was a kid. It just gives me such a nice feeling and all the memories return. I feel like sharing my top 5 most loved childrens series/movies with you. You might know them and perhaps you'd like to share your top 5 on your blog and post your link to it below. I'd love to see what sisters from other countries watched when they were kids!! My list contains Swedish and German series 'cause I lived in Germany till I was 7 and when I then lived in Denmark, they showed Astrid Lindgren's wonderful (Swedish) stories on TV.

Pippi Långstrump

Emil i Lönneberga

Die Sendung mit der Maus

Meister Eder und Sein Pumuckl

Krtek (Der Kleine Maulwurf)

Here you can submit the link to your blog with your entry of your top 5 series/movies for kids:
