My Binondo Girl is an upcoming TV series on ABS-CBN. A teaser of it featuring its lead actress Kim Chiu has just been uploaded on Youtube by ABS-CBN Advertising & Promotions Head Eric John Salut.

The drama-romance soap is set to debut on ABS-CBN primetime this August. My Binondo Girl also stars Kim's three (3) leading men Xian Lim, Matteo Guidicelli and Jolo Revilla; as well as, veteran actresses Glydel Mercado, Cherie Pie Picache, and Ai Ai delas Alas.

Kim Chiu gains weight for 'Binondo Girl'

Kim Chiu, known for her very skinny figure, revealed that she has gained weight and is working on gaining more for her role in her upcoming series, "Binondo Girl."

Kim told Pep.ph earlier this month that from her previous weight of 96lbs, she is now 108lbs. She added that she has to add a few more pounds since her role needs her to be in 115-120lbs weight range.

The drama-romance soap "Binondo Girl" is set to debut on ABS-CBN's primetime within this year. It will also star Kim's 3 leading men Xian Lim, Matteo Guidicelli and Jolo Revilla; as well as, veteran actresses Glydel Mercado, Cherie Pie Picache, and Ai Ai delas Alas.

Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu and Hollywood actor Matt Lanter are together on the cover of Metro Magazine's June 2011 issue.

The photo-shoot for the cover was done in Hollywood, USA. It is the mag's special anniversary issue which is now available in your favorite newsstands and bookstores, nationwide starting, today.

Kim Chiu was previously seen elegant and sophisticated on Mega Magazine's May 2011 cover.

Matt Lanter, by the way, is an American actor best known for his roles in 90210, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Disaster Movie, Sorority Row and Vampires Suck.

Fans like Simon Atkins for Kim Chiu

A month ago, Noypistuff asked Kim Chiu's fans whether they like hoopster Simon Atkins for the young actress.

A total of 1266 votes were casted and 59% (750 votes) of those favor Kimon/Chukins romance. However a big number (516 votes or 41% of the total turnout) still want Kim Chui for Gerald Anderson. This only means that many are still hoping that Kim and Gerald would give their romance a second chance.

An anonymous visitor commented:

"I KNOW KIM AND GERALD ARE MEANT FOR EACH OTHER, KAYA NGA PINAGTAGPO SILA NG TADHANA SA PBB EH!"

Enchong Dee helps Simon Atkins and Kim Chui to meet in person

Kapamilya young actor Enchong Dee reportedly facilitated a meet-up between UAAP basketball player Simon Atkins and actress Kim Chui.

Enchong, who is also from De La Salle University like Simon and who won many swimming competitions for the school, was said to have asked through a phone call by his swimming coach to introduce Simon to Kim personally.

Kim is yet to be interviewed on how her first encounter with Simon went.

Simon Atkins headlined entertainment news recently after posting a series of post in the social media site Twitter telling how he wanted to meet the beautiful young actress Kim. They were able to talk over the phone but were not able to meet personally until this.

I am smelling a new romance flourishing between UAAP basketball player Simon Atkins and actress Kim Chiu. It started when Simon asked his friend former PBB Teen housemate Josef Elizalde via Twitter to introduce him to Kim. They finally were able to talk on the phone and Kim seemed to like Simon also.
