Kapuso teen star Julie Anne San Jose did the front act during David Archuleta's concert at the Araneta Coliseum last Monday.

Julie performed Paramore’s “Decode”, Nicki Minaj’s “Superbase” and Rihanna’s “California King Bed” during the concert. David said to have personally thanked the singer after the concert (as evidenced by the photo above).

It must be a great news for "Julielmo" (the monicker of Julie Anne and Elmo) fans out there since both Julie Ann and Elmo Magalona had been chosen to do the front act for foreign acts in the country - Elmo did Miley Cyrus's last month.

David Archuleta in Manila on November 17

The American Idol Season 7 runner-up, David Archuleta will be visiting Manila once again for a Promo Tour of his new album, The Other Side of Down. Filipino fans can meet and greet "the boy with angelic voice" at the SM North EDSA Skydome on November 17, 2010 at 6 o'clock in the evening.


David Archuleta's The Other Side of Down Manila promo tour is presented by SM Supermalls, SM North EDSA, Sony Music, MYX, ASAP Live, The Peninsula Manila, Magic 89.9 and RX 93.1.

David Archuleta was previously in Manila for a major concert with Idol winner, David Cook back in May 2009.
